Mission Statement:
Welcome to the home of the Twific Pimps! We’ll be pimping fics we read, dishing why we like them, and rec’ing the best Twilight fanfic has to offer! We are natural fic pimps and decided to share our crazy discussions with you.
We’ll be talking about Twific readers and what makes them tick. Our goal is to be reader centric and interactive. Let us know what you are reading. What topics do you want us to discuss?

Our main feature is our podcast. Check out the sidebar for a list of all of our episodes so far. Each episode has a main topic for discussion and a ’60sec Pimp-down’ where we let you know what’s pwning us at the moment. Our topics will range from specific fics, character discussions, fandom issues or a listener suggestion. You can listen to the episodes on our site or download them off iTunes.
We all have fics that leave us thirsting for more after every update. We stalk the forums for people to talk about it with. We re-read old chapters just to get more. We go Twitter-silent when an update finally arrives. And we, The Pimps, Skype about it.
A Straight to the Vein podcast will focus on a specific fic, and we won’t be afraid to talk about any aspect of it – including spoilers. These will be stand-alone episodes, so you only have to listen to ones about fics you’re interested in. In the regular show, we don’t let each other go on about any one fic for too long – there will be no such rule here!

Every Wednesday we post reviews authors have been most excited to receive. As fanfic authors, we do not profit for our efforts in any sort of monetary means. Our currency is in reviews, and nothing makes a writer feel more fabulous than a review that not only is insightful, but is also truly appreciative of our efforts.
Find some reviews that really made an impact and share them with the rest of the fandom. It’s so easy to wallow in the negativity of a flame, but when was the last time you celebrated a review with the rest of the fandom! DO IT!

Got a Fic You Want to Rec?
We want to hear about what you’re reading and loving! What fic is just kicking your ass right now? The Twific Pimps aims to be the voice of the reader in the fandom, and as part of that, there are a couple ways you can use us to get the word out on great fic.
PHONE IT IN and tell us in your own voice on our pimp-a-fic hotline. Your rec might make it onto the podcast or into our Friday Fic Fit.
OR fill out the PIMP IT OUT form to submit a rec for the Friday Fic Fit.
Every Friday, we’ll ease your cravings for a hit/fic by passing on recs that have been shared with us. This means that if there’s a fic you wanna see, you’ll need to submit it!

Want to know what to rec a friend that’s new to twific? Itching to try out a new pairing but not sure what’s good? You tell us what you’re looking for and we’ll do our best to find you a fic you’ll enjoy.
The Twific Pimps want to rec you something gooood. Fill out our Profile A Reader form to give us a sense of what you’d like. You don’t have to answer everything but the more info you give us, the better our rec will be. We’ll be reaching out to other “expert” readers from other rec blogs who specialize in niches and pairings that are outside our areas of expertise, so go buck wild.
