This is one of the funniest E/B fics I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading, and if a wolf girl like me says so, you know it’s true! Badjujube has put together an AU wherein the Cullens (yes, they’re vampires) run a detective agency in Forks. When Bella Swan shows up, Edward nearly kills her on instinct before his brothers grab him. Their initial meeting leads to Bella being justifiably wary about Edward.

The story is a delightful send-up of noir convention, the more ridiculous aspects of Twilight canon, and even some common fic story additions. Narrated in Edward’s dry, self-deprecating style, it had me laughing out loud more than once with its wit and sparkling dialogue. Anyone who loves a good AU will adore this fic.

If you ladies aren’t reading this already, then you need to jump to it, pronto!

It’s well written, compelling, heartfelt, and features a rather delicious older Edward. It’s still early days, only being 11 chapters in, but the author has given us a delightful story, which could have so easily be marred by what some might perceive as a touchy plot device (young girl, offering herself to a ‘sugar daddy’ for the cost of tuition, for a total of 4yrs). So far the main focus of the story has been character development. We still know very little about this Edward, but what we do know, is all good. Bella has a somewhat tragic past, being the child of not one, but two neglectful parents. When it comes to intimacy, and social settings, she is very stunted.

The story hasn’t progressed to include any additional ‘significant’ characters as of yet, but it’s sure to come soon. The way the author has crafted the story so far, has left many avenues open to her with regards to where the story will lead.

I just want to say, i really suck at descriptions. Read the fic for yourselves, and it will become abundantly clear why i’m reccing it.

This story is Twilight with a third cup of simmering Hogwarts.  It very much so darker and gritter than other fics that I have read.  It puts a very interesting twist on dominants and submissive.   Heck it has me wondering if it’s too late to get me into the school.  The pairing is Bella/Jasper, but their relationship is not the only focus.

So far into the story, Bella and The Major Jasper have yet to be reintroduced since that painful day Bella was taken.  You loathe him, despise him, but yet like Bella, he calls to you.

The author gives great detail into the life of a female mate of a vampire.  I love how she incorporates it in flashbacks of Bella and her best friend Charlotte.   The Volturi play a big role as well.

This fic is honestly one of the most interesting and well written that I have come across.  There isn’t a lot of drama in this story; it’s pure fluff and lemons.  I’m really fascinated by the whole premise of this story…love letters  and journal entries written by Edward to help Bella remember things from her human life after she has been changed.  The author is the sweetest person you’ll ever find, and one of the best writers i have come across in this fandom.

This story is awesome! Edward is so damn sexy in it Bella’s married to Riley who’s a total ass, and he’s having many affairs on her. Edward and Bella meet at the beginning at a charity event and are immediately attracted to each other. They keep running into each other because Edward’s actually investigating Riley. Bella files for divorce & contemplates dating Edward when things settle down. Lots of UST between them. The author posts once a day, which is great, well, when ff’s cooperating. This fic is simply amazing. Skeezon is a great writer who is under the radar.  I enjoy her stories including this one because she gets to the point of the story, never drags us along, the characters are awesome, belieavble, and you just want to squeeze them. The decriptions are excellent you can totally picture everything, but its not over done.
Simple, grabbing, yummy lemons, and you wont get distracted or board…for reals!
