Althea’s Thoughts:
I am so fucking in love with this new Savage fic!!! All Human this time. Practically the whole thing so far has taken place on the 10 ft x 10 ft real estate of a life raft. The ship has gone down and Bella & Edward find themselves stranded together. Initially, I hit up this fic, just to see if Savage could pull off telling a whole story that takes place on just a raft.
I am blown away with what she does with that physical limitation. And it’s not like the whole story is told through flashbacks. It’s so very very present. It’s an action packed tale of survival and redemption. It starts out with an asshole Edward. Almost intolerable. And the way it plays out from there – delicious craftsmanship, ladies
Oh yeah. And all EPOV. (*high fives* all round)
This woman has a knack for getting into Edward’s head and making it a totally original and interesting place to be. And just like with Hide and Drink, the slow build of ridiculously hot UST is so well justified, and SO worth the wait
Surviving Bella, y’all. She is working it with this premise. Original and so far, brilliantly executed.
